Becoming a Better Investor

Martin Krikorian’s new book explains the basic concepts
of investing and reaching your retirement goals.

Martin Krikorian, an independent registered investment advisor (RIA) with 18 years of experience, recently released his second book, 7 Steps to Becoming a Better Investor. It’s a compilation of 24 investment columns he has written for the Lowell Sun.

Written in plain language that the average person can easily understand, the book explains the basics of making sound investments, debunking many of the myths that currently exist.

Topics include:

  • Avoiding Predictions
  • Managing Risk
  • Diversification
  • Investing in Index Funds
  • Investments to Avoid
  • Reaching Your Retirement Goals
  • Finding the Right Financial Advisor

Krikorian is the founder and owner of Capital Wealth Management in Chelmsford, Mass. As a fee-only RIA, he is required to pursue the best options for his clients, as opposed to receiving commissions for selling securities (a possible conflict of interest). In addition to his work at Capital Wealth Management, Krikorian writes a monthly investment column for the Lowell Sun.

His first book, 10 Chapters to Having a Successful Investment Portfolio, was released in 2008 and is also available from Amazon.
